Could you make it sound less enticing, please I'm supposed to be on a buying freeze.First time trying a Hiram & Solomon Grand Architect over the weekend. Some pros and/or cons depending on what you look for in a cigar. Let me start by saying this was a very enjoyable smoke. Very nice appearance with a very smooth wrapper with no significant veins or seams. The cold draw brought to mind a creamy milk chocolate. I know this makes no sense, but I would describe it as a “soft”, but pleasant flavor profile. To me it was at most a medium bodied cigar with good smoke output. The draw was perfect from beginning to end as was the burn. Clearly a well constructed cigar. I never detected any significant pepper or harshness. It was very smooth throughout without any noticeable changes in flavor profile. If you are looking for something bold with a lot of complexity and distinctive flavor transitions this may not be the stick for you. If, however, you enjoy a nice smooth creamy smoking experience (like I do) this may be right up your alley. When I have a cigar I’m looking for a relaxing experience, not something that is going to overwhelm my taste buds. Others look for a totally different experience.
