@Texican I'm not a fan of grapefruit juice so I've kind of avoided that one.
A friend told us to try equal parts peanut whisky and Creme de Cassis tastes like peanut butter and jelly but way way too sweet for me and my wife! Might be a good way to calm the kids down!
So
1/2 c white sugar
1 T natural vanilla
1 cinnamon stick & pinch of nutmeg
2 T lemon juice
1/2 c water
1 lb frozen pitted cherries
1 c Luxardo Liqueur
boil all except cherries and liqueur 2-3 min reduce heat add cherries simmer 5 min untill thickens remove from heat add liqueur let cool store in fridge makes 1 quart
This batch has been in the fridge for a couple of months and keeps getting better and better, hope i can make it an infininty bottle. The juice is a great alternative to Maraschino juice and Luxardo when making cocktails
@Boudie - this thread keeps getting better and better. I have seen the Luxardos at Total Wine and contemplated it so many times before repeatedly deciding "eh...that's the price of a case of beer...pass!". This is awesome.
@Texican now that you own a bottle you will find lots of ways to use it. I think I posted earlier about a peanut butter and jelly If you still have some of the peanut whiskey around give it a try.
@icehog3 It's wrong to judge a team on their 1st game under a new coach and system but I'm really dissapointed in how ill prepared the offensive line was and how pourly we covered the short passing game.
