I've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge about 10 times...it is second only to the Beach Club IMO (strictly because you have to take a bus everywhere). For the kids it is the best. The buffet is called Boma, and it rocks!!!!! I've only been on the Disney Magic, but it was awesome too. Have a great time man.

Steve, I hope you have a great time, and just as important, I hope you have a great time with your family. These are certainly special times and ones to remember, so let it all hang out.

:peace:

It's been several years since my family went to DW. We stayed in a condo in Orlando and had a park hopper pass for 4 days. Epcot was the best of the bunch - followed by MGM Studios, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I've never been on the cruise though - but I hear they treat you very good.

Have fun Steve! The best cruise you'll ever have is when the youngin' is left at home. Atleast that's what my parents always told me! And I know you'll be raping the buffet too!

Have a great time and enjoy the family my friend. I'm envious. Have to wait for the grand kids to get old enough.

You'll have a blast! We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge about 5 years ago and it was a trip! Very nice bar downstairs.

You should be able to pick up some nice Cuban sticks from the taxi drivers there in Nassau!

I too am heading out to Disneyland and Sea World on Thursday....but on the opposite coast. We will be going to Southern Cal and will be gone until May 12. We are staying at the Grand Californian, which is extremely similar in construction and decor to the Wilderness Lodge. Have a fun trip and relax....I know we will!!!

Wahoooo for vacations!!!

Thanks guy, miss everyone already. I have some special cigars set aside already, pre cut and draw tested already to avoid any problems.

We will be on the second from the top deck and have a full private veranda too. We went all out on our first cruise. I plan on enjoying cigars while looking out over the water no doubt.
Just got back last March from exactly that itinerary with the exception of using a disney cruise. Ask around if DCL has a cigar bar onboard. If they do have a cigar bar, try a nice 6 grape Port with your cigar. That will be quite relaxing.

I chose Carnival because they have a cigar bar on every ship(but don't tell the wife that. She thinks I like Carnival because I get cheaper Balcony/Verandah rates compared to DCL) Last March was our 2nd Cruise.

First of all
If you go to the Atlantis, at one end of the Hotel complex is a shop that sells cigars and they do have cuban cigars. Expensive. I looked at the Boxes for sale and the boxcodes were kinda old which is nice but just be careful. I don't know from where and how they get them. They even have a roller. I brought my own stash on the cruise (5 days on the Bahamas Cruise and 5 days in Disney). I smoked most of my stash on the cruise. Left about 3 - 4 habanos for the Disney part of the vacation.

If you still like NCs and you have the time, make a trip to Corona Cigars which I think is on Apopka Vineland Rd. Extensive choices. A full bar available onsite. Didnt have time to go this trip. But I remember across from their parking is a sandwich shop that serves excellent cuban sandwiches!!!

I stayed at the Best Western LBV because all the rooms have a balcony. I can smoke cigars in the Balcony.

The Transition from Ship to shore wasnt that slow. Customs weren't looking for people with Cuban Cigars thats for sure. Should have brought more cigars on the trip. They just let us families go through.

Here are some pics
