If you had to make a choice between only Cuban cigars for the rest of your life, or cigars from everywhere else for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

I will discuss the issue on my next podcast (6 Sep 07).

Thanks!

That would be a tough choice.
I don't smoke many Cuban and I would have a hard time giving up some of my favorite NC's so I'd give up the Cuban cigars and smoke everything else.

That would be tough to give up domestics just because of Opus alone. WOW, don't ask such tough questions right before a holiday weekend!

Definitely Cubans. Although Pepin's and the Fuentes' sticks would be really hard to give up, there's nothing from them I would pick up instead of a Choix Supreme or a PSD3 or almost any other stick from the Island, for that matter.

Too many excellent smokes from DR, Nicaragua, Honduras, Calle Ocho in Miami (gotta love them Pepin's). I can easily live without Cubans.

I'd have to give up the Cubans. The tobacco and construction from Nic and the DR have made fantastic strides over the past 10 years or so. Hell, some great tobaccos are coming out of Costa Rica now and there are a lot of great blends now. It would be a sad day if I had to make the choice, but I'd live.

If and when I was ever able to legally smoke a Cuban cigar, I'd consider the source that would be forcing me to give up anything, loudly clamor for my rights, clean and check my firearms, stockpile some water and canned goods, and then politely decline their fine offer either way.
