I remember hearing about that in the News they had that road closed almost the whole day after that chase because I guess they killed the driver.

That cop on the hood was badass!
Hopefully everything ended safely for the officers. I'm sure it really sucks to be in a situation like that.

I thought most police departments have given up 100+ mph chases due to public safety ...?
Most will. However, when the driver attempts to inflict bodily harm or kill a police officer or a civilian all bets are off.

Think about all the crap a cop takes and the situations like this one. Let's see
inadequate income, bad hours, hard on the family, risk of life, not much respect in most cases, criminals with more rights. It's a wonder we get men and women to do the job.
Like the military, our cops don't get the clean end of the stick very often. I for one hold the boys in blue in higher esteem than I do for most politicians, doctors, lawyers and my chosen profession (Auto, RV business).

Not to threadjack my own thread, but how are gas prices affecting the low end RV buyer/business? You would think the highend guys can afford gas no matter what considering how much they'd pay for one. Just curious as I'm drinking my morning coffee.
