A high school about 5 miles from where I work had a very strange incident this week.

Two girls were sent out of class and to the office for what appeared to be drunken behavior in class. Upon blowing into the breathalyser, they came back 0.0. Still behaving odd, they had their blood alcohol tested and they were both over twice the legal limit. How'd they do it you ask....



Tampons! These girls saturated tampons in vodka and inserted them into their vagina's, the high count of mucus membranes soaks up the alcohol and it goes right into the blood stream, but not on the breath! During the conversation with police, the found that both males and females were also doing this rectally with enema bags and liquor as well.

They should still register a reading. I don't suspect a tampon could hold enough alcohol and then be inserted into their vagina, to get them that intoxicate.

The alcohol on the breath isn't from your mouth or throat. It's a byproduct from your blood stream after it's gone through your lungs.

That's why we ask when the last time you had a drink. You have to wait a period of time from the last drink..to clear the mouth, until you conduct a test.
