Today's the 1st day of Spring Training!! God, I LOVE baseball....

I can't count all the reasons why I love this game, but here are a few....
-It's America's Past-time
-It's played in the summer and ends in the fall
-The sports talk and hype start in Spring with training!
-There's a hell of a lot more than 16 games! (sorry NFL)
-Tickets are reasonable, unlike almost all other pro sports

Anyway, I'm not alone here am I guys?

Here's to hoping the Phils can improve on last season.....:applause:

Sorry Joe, i have trouble keeping interested in games where a good game can have a score of 1 to 0.

How 'bout that Roger Clemens tho?? He's done a ton for this years season even before spring training. Cant' wait to see how all that unfolds.

I hear you with the whole Roger Clemens fiasco...I'm tired of hearing it, but I'm glad that Congress is stepping in. Baseball allowed the players to get all hopped up on HGH and it's tainting the game.

IMHO Clemens is guilty, why would his trainer go after the person that gives him a living? And everyone else that the trainer ratted out as copped to it, except for Clemens.

I got plenty of extra yankee tickets, we should do a game Herf one sunday.
I have 4 tickets to every sunday game. So we can do lie 1 or 2 small group herfs.
Or if we get a lot of people interested, we can rent a box between the group.

Baseball Bug has me all year round!!! Now we just get to actually enjoy the addiction.
My biggest disappointment of 2007 was loosing Don Mattingly.
Personally I dont mind loosing Torre though.
I think we overpaid for AROD.
I think our pitching will be good enough to surprise people this year.
I see Boston loosing to the yankees in the playoffs.
Then the mets loosing to the yankees in the series
YEAH!!!!! BASEBALL!!!!
