Finally, I got a cabinet Humi and its all set up now....thought I'd show you guys my set up...

Its the Verona, found at many online retailers. I paid $720 including shipping to cali, ($540 before shipping). It was one of the best values for price/size.
The quality was way better then I expected, since its not a Avallo or similar, I thought it may be shady, but was please to see its very solid, thick wood, and door shuts tight...it has several magnets and 2 other units that hold the door shut tight.

Anyways....here's the pics.....(as you can see I'm a huge Gurkha fan)

(P.S. thanks to those whom responded regarding the seasoning on my last thread.)

if you are wondering...The boxes in the bottom are RP sigs, Peterson, my Padron 1946 & 1926s in the Punch box, and the original, over 8 year aged, single label Gurkha symphonys.

Nice lookin unit! Not a bad deal, considering the size. I'm glad to hear it seals well...I've also been pleasantly surprised by the seal and overall quality of my cabinet.

BTW..that is some serious single storage! I don't know if I've ever seen so many single drawers. I'm more of a box storage guy, but that is pretty cool

You've got yourself a pretty good wife....alot of women have a stopping point WELL before a stocked cabinet humidor that's almost as tall as yourself!

Congratulations on the baby, and take care of Moma.
It would be cool to buy a special box and smoke one on each of your childs Birthdays. Each year the cigars would get better as your child ages.

I didn't see, or I didn't look closely enough. What are you using for humidification? That's a pretty good deal on that. Don't those retail for over 900 at Cigars International?

That's a beautiful setup you've got. I'm jealous!

How are you liking those CAO Americas I see in there? I've heard mixed reviews, so another review would be helpful.

This really got me thinkin!
I decided I plan to buy a box of 20 sticks, smoke one at birth, that leaves me with 19 sticks. smoke one every year near birthday until child is 18, on the 18 birthday I will have 2 sticks left...one for me and one for my kid.
What a cool tradition and great way to honor the child and great way to spend time together at 18, and great way to age a good box of sticks!

Thanks for the idea.....now I have to pick the box.....
