  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hi from Eugene, OR!

I have been an observer at BOTL for quite some time. Ex-cigarette smoker. I REALLY missed it. Then my boss turned me onto smoking cigars last year and I realized what I have been missing. That little "me-time" while I was outside smoking. That time that I could unwind and ponder life's mysteries. Cigars have brought that joy back in my life, without all the health problems. Woohoo! Plus, damn these things actually taste good!!!.

Anyway, I have been watching for some time and should contribute back now. You all have been a HUGE resource for me on getting started. I learned everything from humidors to good sticks to great retailers from you all. So, THANKS!

I tend toward the dark, oily sticks. Light ones tend to remind me of cigarettes. So far I really like the EO 601 (except the black label) and my day-to-day smoke I think is going to end up being an Olor del Cabao (I will make a review of those later).

I have some Ghurkas on the way that I can't wait to try.
