Short time lurker, just thought I'd say "Hi". Haven't been smoking cigars that long, but learned a lot pretty quick poking around the forum. Lots of good newbie suggestions and tips.
Yeah it was pretty hot today, but around 6:00 this evening, wham, cooled off and has been raining ever since. Hope it doesn't make it hot and humid tomorrow. I like the other thing that gets said about Oklahoma "don't like the weather, just wait and hour, it will change."
Welcome. I hail from Ft Worth and there seems to be several people from the area on these forums so maybe we can all get together and smoke a few together. Oklahoman's (?) welcome. What are some of your fav smokes?
That sounds like fun. Well since I'm just starting out, I haven't had the chance to try too many, but the ones I really like so far are: (no laughing if I use noob terminology ) CAO Cameroon, Fuente Hemingway Classic, and the Fuente Curly Head Natural was pretty good for a cheaper smoke. I tried the Curly Head Candela, but the jury is still out on that one, need to try another one before I make up my mind. I got my free Monticristo White in the mail today and am looking forward to trying it in the next few days. I've tried a Don Diego, it was pretty good, a few flavored/infused ones, they seemed to irritate my throat, but the Helix Remix Amaretto was the one exception.
Well, if ya'll are looking for a herf, my shop owner is badgering me to get another one together. We've got a GREAT selection, plenty of room and good prices. Someone start up a thread and we can get something going.
