Hi everyone! My name is Josh, while I am not entirely new to cigars I have recently started taking a more deeper interest in them within the last 4 - 5 months or so. I would also say that having a connection who is a territory manager from one of the largest manufacturer has also been a blessing.

I started off buying singles one and two here and just smoking those until 2 months ago when I actually purchased a box.

Right now I'm just using one of those fuente bags with a pack to regulate RH.
I have six different types of cigars in there right now. a couple around 3-4 are kind of beat up a little buy a friend of mine gave them to me because he did not like them.

I also purchased my first torch colibri lighter not that long ago as well.

I'm right now thinking about making a humidor out of a rubbermaid but haven't found a nice set of directions/ write ups.

Welcome to BOTL bro. If you just purchased that Colibri, I don't mean to sound snobbish but i would return it for something else. They are notorious for breaking. There are numerous other lighters out there that are much higher quality and will last much longer. Just my opinion, trying to look out for a new brother.

What do you suggest. I haven't had any problems so far and everytime I go in for new cigars they fill it up for me as well. I also understand the new ones carry a lifetime warranty. If anything I'll probably just buy another lighter as well, for a backup.

I was not aware of a lifetime warranty, and the bottom line is if you are happy with it that is all that matters. I would suggest a Xikar, Nibo, Blazer, im Corona, just to name a few. However, you may find that yours works great and with the warrantly you can replace it as much as needed, whatever works for you brother, just sometihing to be aware of.

While I'm glad to hear you mention it to. The owner of the shop I got it at actually told me that as soon as I started looking at them. That they did have problems in the past but for the most part I shouldn't experience any and if I should bring it in and they will exchange it at the store. Makes me feel confidence in my local store.

Welcome to BOTL. Enjoy. I have three Colibri lighters. All working just fine. Must use triple filtered fuel to assure performance.

Welcome. Can you say Zippo?
I've never been found of soft flames because its always harder for me to light. I do like Dupont lighters and I belive it was Monte Cristo which replicated a lighter they make to the T which is a soft flame that I did fall in love with.

I'll have to give the Zippo another look then, can you suggest one.

Welcome to the forum. You look like you have a nice stash going. You might invest in a much bigger humidor as you will no doubt be needing it before too long. I too, have had quite a few Colibri lighters and every singe one of them did the dirty to me. But if you have a lifetime service with yours, that's hard to beat. I have had just about every lighter that came down the road and I would stack the jet lite Ronson against the whole lot. This sucker lights every single time, I can abuse it and it still lights. I must say I use nothing but triple or quintuplet fuel in all of my lighters.
