My name is Christy and am SERIOUSLY getting ready to open a cigar lounge. The only issue I am having is finding a company to purchase the cigars wholesale. Do you purchase directly from each factory or do you have a favorite vendor that supplies you with a good inventory?

Thank you for any information!
Christy

Welcome Christy.
I spoke to a rep at an event once about this and the said the first thing you want to do is join the IPCPR. He said that's where you'll get most of the info and help you'll need. This seems like something you should have researched already though.

welcome..research how you go about buying wholesale( try what rick said)..then ask us what cigars to stock, and that will definately help you more. reason being is that most of us are consumers and just buy retail so we know just as much as you doin this area

Welcome, I hope you have a business plan and are still a while out. I don't want to see like a jerk but not knowing where your going to be getting your supply means you're just going to have an empty store with some couches and TV's. How long have you been into cigars for btw and are you going into this with anyone else. Where are you going to be opening up your store. I ask because I'm sure a lot of the brothers here would be able to offer you tons of great suggestions on lounges in the area and what they enjoy and don't enjoy at their local B&M's. Besides that it's always great to see another B&M open up and I wish you the best of luck especially at such a hard economic time.
