BOM 2/09-Keeper BOTtLe
The little electro coolers that plug into your car ligher are also thermoelectric and will work well. Most do not have a thermostat, but you can get AC power adaptors and they do work.
My car was recently broken into, so a lot of my money going to replace what insurance didn't give me. Again, I am in a college dorm room, so I would love to have a 28 bottle count, but room is really tight.Go with the winadore man. I got a steal on a hooked up 28 bottle Avanti. I love it. High temps mean problems.
I think that you will need some type of thermostat control for this. These type of coolers can get a little to cool for storing cigars.Get the measurements of that little vinotemp and hit up MTmouse and custom shelves. Another option is if you are handy get a cooler and drill into it and put a cooling device.
Kinda like what they've done here.

I took the tube out, yesterday. I replaced it with a mesh bag of beads, and it is no longer located there.74~75 degrees what is the problem here? :dunno: If you have issues thinking tobacco beetles might hatch, freeze your sticks first.
Also try not to have your sticks directly next to the beads like that. Give it a little bit of space.
I'm in college! Maybe you were gifted with big living quarters.Ah don't mess around with the little ones. Honestly if you are going to mess around with a little 12 or 6 bottle. Save some cash up over another month or so and just buy the 28 bottle win cooler. In the long run you will be happier in the long run. I friggin love mine. I bought mine right at Target for $150.00
Fixed. :bouncetauOk everybody relax.eace: Same tag team her bro.
I might have my own place in a year or two, where I can put something bigger in. When I get a chance I will. Until then, small will work.I agree when you are settled buy the biggest thing you can afford. I myself as a graduate student need to be portable, I still have maybe 3 big moves a head of me. For instance I thought I was going to stay where I am at to finish my Ph.D. as it turned out I will be moving to Texas, after that I have a post-doc and then who ever wants to hire a cigar smoking professor. Taking something so big would be cumbersome, it's the exact same reason I don't own a TV or a desktop computer.
I'm sorry bro, I didn't know you were dealing with space restrictions. I never went to college other than to get my Associates Degree. Didn't mean to offend in any way.I'm in college! Maybe you were gifted with big living quarters.
Again, I would love to have a big one. Dorm room=no room. My desktop was already getting in the way, anything bigger would quite possibly annoy my roommate, and leave my limited space even more cramped.
In a few years when I know I can justify a purchase for something that big I will.
The small vinotemp will do just fine. Prior to two weeks ago I didn't have a humidor bigger than my cheap 20-25 ct. The 100 works fine and is only half full. So anything bigger is just a waste.
Oh by no way was I trying to sound upset. I just said it on page two. Haha, just my dorm room is tiny, and make you stay in them Freshman year. For the time being something that could hold roughly 100 cigars, and be the same size would be great. That small 6 bottle one is perfect. If I can remove all the racks my humidor I believe could actually fit inside it. What I meant by gifted by big quarters, is that some colleges have bigger rooms. Baylor isn't that lucky we just have average dorm rooms. At University of Texas where my brother is at, he had a huge dorm room.I'm sorry bro, I didn't know you were dealing with space restrictions.
