Had to take my wife to sugery today and I get a call from a brother saying 1 of the casinos in town is on fire. They eventually raised it to a 3 alarm fire. Empress casino Joliet. Im sitting in the waiting room with incredible guilt even though I know theres nothing I can do now but take care of my wife. Called my downtown BC about coming in to night, but told me to take care of my wife tonight. Im watching the news and thinking about all the guys possibly getting laid off at work and now a bussiness that produces 100 million plus for city and state taxes may not even be reopened. Please pray for all my guys theyre going to need it tonight .they've been down there all day and its still burnin 8 hrs later. And my wife is in incredible pain from a hernia sugery by her groin so Im stayin here at the house even though I dont like it 1 bit.
