Oh yeah...on the normal music front, I've been listening to the new Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Groovehogs (growing in popularity), and the regular standbys of Godsmack and a few others (usually after a long day of work).
I love Kenny wayne shepard. Also, a HUGE fan of Led zepplin. Sublime. occsional DMB. I like good music. I like blues and some classical, No one inparticular. But anyone that is a good artist I enjoy. Nothing like a live band that is talented and loves what they do.

i listened to them a lot when they came out. they weren't "popular" music at the time, but for those that loved music and talent, they were amazing!

Have to love a band that sings about...
Godzilla!

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down

Helpless people on a subway train
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them

He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town

Oh no, they say hes got to go
Go go godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes tokyo
Go go godzilla, yeah

Rinji news o moshiagemasu!
Rinji news o moshiagemasu!
Godzilla ga ginza hoomen e mukatte imasu!
Daishkyu hinan shite kudasai!
Daishkyu hinan shite kudasai!

Oh no, they say hes got to go
Go go godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes tokyo
Go go godzilla, yeah

History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men
Godzilla!

My band played Alumni Weekend at my old college Saturday. They wanted something not too loud, as we were background for an afternoon BBQ. About 1000 people there. It was me on bass, my friends Wayne on guitar & vocals, and Fred on pedal steel guitar & vocals. Lots of Dead, New Riders, Johnny Cash, Willie & Waylon. Crowd loved it & we were invited back for next year.

My favorite shows were The Dead at Red Rocks. Everything was always perfect!
