Need Help With Cigar Asylum Login

I made an account because some BOTLs have told me I should, since there are some guys in my area on there.

I made an account for the second time( the first was never approved). It allowed me to make an introductionary post and edit my avitar. Today I received an email saying Renn sent a friend invite, so I logged in. It allows me to long in but then it says this evrytime I try to do something. I guess they don't want new members.

sounds like their vbulletin permissions are fubar. The goal is any site should be to increase traffic which drives post, which in turn creates better content.

True, but on our golf site we have people make 10 posts before they get full access to everything, helps mainly to keep the spammers out, plus we run contests and would rather people stick around then just join to pad polls or win and run.

Don, have you tried PM the admins?(or is it even worth it to you??)

I don't visit Cigar Asylum very often, but the admins there seem like good guys. Maybe they're having trouble with spammers. PM the mods (I know at least a couple of them are members here too, by the way) and I'm sure they'll take care of you.

Don, I'd suggest to PM the brothers here ye know to be there as well to ask for help (as offered above), but also try not to bash other communities here. I know it wasn't in bad faith, but, let's all behave...and maybe not bother on Burger King whilst at McDonald's.

I got maybe 50 posts over there, never had any problems. I've noticed lately alot of guys from there coming over here though.

Even once you get full access, it's not that great of a site, I joined, and never go there.

BOTL is my home. that said, there are some great guys i've met on CA. in fact, we herf every thursday night. i'm not very active over there, because, again, this is my home.

that said, i think it makes us look a bit snobbish (juvenile) to bash another site, esp. when there are a lot of our members that call CA home. it's not a competition, it's a brotherhood! just an observation.

I think it's more a case of frustration than bashing, it's hard to bash a forum that you can't even access. Yeah the title's a bit harsh, a little editing should solve that.
