Hello from GA. I'm just returning to cigars after an absence brought on by small children and life. In the past, I was a partner in a B&M shop in Roswell, GA, by the name of The Cigar Merchant. It was a great learning experience for both cigars and the challenges of retail (i.e., employee theft). After about 4 years in it, I got out to focus on other endeavors.
The cigar shop experience was good because I got to meet many fine cigar makers such as Lito Gomez, Avo, the Fuentes, etc. After reading through many of the posts here, it is obvious there have been many new brands introduced and I feel like a 'newby" again. I tend to gravitate toward full body smokes.
My work allows me to travel internationally so I get to sample both the CCs and the domestic smokes.
I'm glad my friends turned me onto this forum and I look forward to learning what I've forgotten over the years.
