What does your spouse think of your cigar smoking?

The lady doesn't mind the cigar smoking at all - Infact on long drives she even asks why I don't bring more along. Although, she has also hinted that even though I'm working on getting a cigar friendly section to the house Once children are involved 'things may change' haha

I've been with my girlfriend nearly seven years. I've smoked cigars during the duration of those seven years.

So long as I don't smoke more than three cigars a week, she's fine with it. Anymore than that and she'll sass me.

She says cigars makes me stink, I tell her she's nuts because she says that even when I don't smoke. Either she's just bustin' my chops or maybe I just plain smell bad.

I came home tonight to her smoking an Oliva Cain Habano - apparently an 'admirer' at the local by her work hooked her up. Typically she doesn't like going into the B&M's, but she's always sending me to get her sticks. No problem.

My wife is fine with it, as long as I brush my teethes, mouthwash, etc before bedtime.

She will smoke an occasional cigar herself, in fact. She's probably got 20 or so sticks of her own in my humi.

Nic, that sounds just like my wife. My wife bought me my first "real" humidor!

Mine's not crazy about it and because she's slightly naive to it is worried about health risks. At first I had to do the shower / brush teeth thing but she's pretty much gotten over it. We both have an "allowance" and agree that we spend it on whatever we want... so, I'm in the clear with money. She's not crazy about the smell but she knows that it's pretty much something she has to deal with. I have no other hobbies or habits, don't even drink, so I think she considers the circumstances and she's cool with it.

Mine doesn't mind guess she's glad I quit smoking cigarettes. She thinks I have enough to last me a lifetime.. if only she knew.

My wife's cool with it as long as I don't stink up the house. Every once in awhile she'll even kick up her feet and have one (Usually a Blondie) with me. I smoke in the garage untill the man cave is complete. I don't have any other bad habbits and usually only have one cigar a day.

Mine is fine. She makes her comments every now and then because I retrohale and thinks I am inhaling. And what was supposed to be a couple a week is most everyday.
But as long as it's warm enough out, she goes out with me most days.

She hates the smell of cigar smoke but she supports my hobby because she knows I love cigars and the camaraderie we enjoy. She even bought me a gift certificate to my B&M for Father’s Day. Now that surprised the hell out of me.
BTW, I don't smoke in the house.

She hated for the longest time saying i stunk. Finally I told her that not matter how much she bitches I am not giving it up. Since then she hasn't said a word!!! If I smoke before bed, she does ask me to wash and change my shirt. That's fine with me!!!! At least the constnt bitching has stopped!!!

My other half doesn't mind at all. She likes that it gives me something to do with the guys.

My other half minds, but tolerates it because it's a part time job for her husband whom is a college student. I get the scrunched up face and the "you're stinky" comments all the time. Plus she had an uncle with lung cancer who subsequently died from complications along with the cancer. What she doesn't distinguish is he smoked unfiltered lucky strikes for most of his years, was a welder before OSHA existed (probably welding galvanized stuff at that), and then smoked swisher sweets like cigarettes in his remaining years.

His son and I smoke together now and both get looks from the wives. My only defense is that I did it before we even got together and it's not going to change.
