I have a big humidity problem here, and I will let my sticks sit for atleast two, but as long as your humidor has regained stability you shuld be fine, and the smokes should be ok to light up. You are the only one who will know for sure because only you know how your smokes burn in your climate. So how long should I let these rest before I try one? They were shipped vacuum sealed but no humi-packs or anything. They were in transit for probably about 2.5 weeks.
Ditto that. Love the Monte 4.I love the Monte 4s....
This was the consensus from many myself included. I remember when I had my first I kept thinking WTF? I actually never went back. I guess I should try them again.I don't know if they they still are but the Genios were released way too young. at least my OR box was. With a couple of years on them they are much better
Joe, try one now and see what you think, although they may be a little "wet". Generally speaking, most like to let CCs "rest" for 30 days in the humidor. In my experience they smoke much better after rest, especially after lengthy travels. Air travel and pressure changes, climate differences and handling can all have some influence. The fact that they were vacuum packed means they probably retain their origination humidity. I suspect the RH is pretty low where you are so make sure and get something to keep them ~65 RH.So how long should I let these rest before I try one?
