Nope, there are some really nice G-Shocks out there, but I don't know about that specific model nor am I an expert on these. I just heard awhile back that people are blinging out the G-Shocks...

generally casio makes cheaper watches but they also do oceanus and then the MRG gshocks are awesome

g shocks are great. a friend of mine has had the same baby g (woman's watch) for 15 years and only changed the battery once.

not a wal-mart type watch at all man. Casio has been making awesome timepieces with cutting edge technology and styling for decades. they have a huge cult following among watch aficionados.

ask any navy-seal, police or firefighter they'll tell you the same thing. G-shocks are especially durable and really there is no substitute out there that will take a beating like a g-shock.

I have a G Shock Atomic Solar. Great watch, and keeps perfect time.

As mentioned multiple times here they are great watches. They were the standard issued watch for my units while in the military. We needed to keep good time and have durable watches because we treated our gear like ogres. Well not that specific model but the g-shock line in general depended on how much the unit was willing to spend.
