In Search of Tat Reserva Sw Maduro

Hey everyone maybe you can help me out. I am still a rookie with Tats and my experience is not that great. I have had the Black and Red tubo's along with a 2003,2006, and Sw Cojono that Ctaylor sent me. I want to buy something else to try but these guys cost a bit so I'm not sure I want to gamble. I here everyone here talk about the J21's and the Sw's and now I found out there's an Sw maduro as well. I've heard the Maduro is hard to find and I like maduro's so where could I find these and would you buy a box or just a few. I'm not sure which is the better between the three. Your opinions on these three would be very much apreciated and if you know where's the best place to get them.

There just about non existent now. I'm going to be doing a one year review on them when I get back home. Released April 09. To me they're the best cigar ever made. But last year when I first reviewed them they had a fruity/ raisin taste that they seemed to have lost. Still a great cigar though and still in my top ten.

They were only given to one store when they were released. Then they seem to have dribbled out from that store to some other retailer friends of that shop.

Pete mentioned recently that they seem to popping up in a few stores because folks were either hoarding them or didn't know what they had. But I'd imagine that you will likely not find them in retail anymore, if you do, grab them. Your best bet is trading or buying for a few here and there.

Yep, the RSW maddie may be my favorite Tat. I also like the Cojonu 2009 better than the other Cpjonus.

Tommy boy let me look through my stash. I could have sworn I saw one last lone dog still in the stable. Ill shoot er out this week for ya to try. They do pop up time to time and people tend to want some loot for them (and they sell for it) So try it out for yourself before dropping the loot. don't get me wrong...they are fan flippn tastic...but different smokes for different folks.

So I tried to post something...didn't work, so here it goes again.

While I was in Miami before heading to Nica, I went to a cigar lounge called Aromas of Havana. I saw some samplers of Tatuajes, which included among other things, an SW Maduro, a Drac and a Boris. I started talking with the owner, Louis. Turns out the SW Maduro was made for his former partner, Paul. He was a sales rep for Tatuaje...and had passed a number of years ago. Aromas got the bulk of the boxes...a few boxes went to Sabor, also in Miami. Louis said no one else officially got boxes. I mentioned that they have been found elsewhere...he said it would have been because they bought them from Aromas or Sabor. He said he sold his last full box a little while back to Michael Jordan...who came in the shop, grabbed a SW Maddie, and said he loved the cigar and wanted a full box.
