I had the Padilla Series '68 lancero last night, and it wasn't half bad. My first Padilla, so I can't say how it compares to others.

Surprised nobody mentioned DPG Cuban Classic lancero. A very smooth flavor bomb, like drinking a good coffee. I also really enjoy lanceros El Triunfador, DPG Blue, Oliva Series V, and San Cristobol.

I found that I really enjoy smoking lancero sized cigars. To date, I've had an original and new release El Triunfador, and a La Riqueza No. 1 (which is close to lancero size I think.) Right now, I'm having trouble finding other lancero sized cigars. I've seen the Oliva V lancero which I plan on purchasing soon but can anyone give me some suggestions for others out there? :cbig:
Cohiba lancero is very good. If you let them age 3 years or more amazing.

Like you, I'm finding that I really enjoy the lancero size. The Oliva Series V lancero taste wonderful and is quite a bargain IMO. My favorite lancero is the My Father. I could be quite happy with only those two sticks stocking my humidor.

I've only had two lanceros and they were both great. The Gran Habano #5 and the Oliva Serie V and they were both fantastic. The OSV though had some burn issues but I would attribute that to me rather than the cigar.

Viaje Platino Lancero is a fine stick.

Most definately agree with this selection. The others mentioned are also mighty fine choices too.

One I didn't see mentioned that I believe to be an excellant Lancero is the LFD DL Cameroon Lancero, in my opinion it is an ass kicker of a cigar! :cbig:

The El Centurion Lancero is my all-time favorite in this size. I may be mistaken, but I thought Pepin did a Petite Lancero in this line as well (5 1/2 x 38). Would LOVE to try that one too.

I'm a fan of Lanceros myself. My favorites so far: My Father, Oliva V, Padilla 1932, Pepin Blue, Nestor Miranda Special Selection, Famous Nicaraguan Habano.

I recently smoked an A. Fernandez Signature in a lancero size. It was fantastic. Maybe my favorite lancero I've smoked yet.

One you really need to try is the Cuvee Grand Lancero, if you can find one, they are stunning, just ask shuckins!
