La Verite Futures

I wasn't sure if Pete would be doing the futures sales with his La Verite cigars like he has talked about, but he just posted on facebook that next years release of La Verite (2009) futures will go on sale next January. I would definitely recommend getting some when available if it saves a little money!

He also said this years 2008 are shipping to retailers in the next 3 weeks.

According to Dan at New Havana, prices for next years La Verite are now released. It looks like the January futures will be like this years pricing, $16 & $20. The regular release price in the Summer of 2011 will then be $20 & $25. I will not be missing the futures sale!

I was talking with the Tat rep at my local friday and he was going over all the different packing sizes for these. It pretty interesting how Pete's boxing these up and I can't till I get my hands on abox or crate depending on finances.:drool:

We were told in Nica that the crates(500)ct?) are never being sold. Theyll be used year after year as the sleeping boxes. 100 or less to retailers. If I remember correctly.

Hey guys,

The La Verite 2008 is being priced a little lower for the first year to introduce the brand and concept to the market. 2009 Vintage will be released for sale in Jan 2011 at a discounted price.
The 2008 vintage only about 475 master cases of 100 will hit the streets. That's a total between La Verite 7x47 and L'esprit de Verite 5x50.

Depending on state and taxes, the suggested for the 2008 are $16 and $20.

At $1600 - $2000 you shouldnt have much trouble lol. I was hoping to pick up a small box but at that price, the small boxes might be out of the picture for me now too.

For this 2008 vintage, pricing has been offered at $20 and $16, respectively, to introduce the Consumer to the project. For 2009 (which has already been rolled at the factory) the pricing will be offered as futures, like the wine industry, giving the consumers a chance to buy early next year with a release date in the summer again. The release price will then be $25 and $20 respectively.
