I've heard everyone raving about these ever since I joined the boards almost
a year ago, i snagged a couple westies, but never had the chance to buy or
smoke an eastie... I still haven't smoked one of the westies, but i'm curious....

Which of these is the best, and your reasons for feeling that way....

Thanks,

"X"

p.s. my other reason for the thread is I still don't know how to post
a "Poll" in a thread! *lol*

What are your thoughts on them though Steve?
The east is my favorite. I find the east coast much smoother yet it has more spice than the west in my opinion. I love earthy spicy cigars that can stay smooth and the east does that. I find it more full in flavor too. It's got a nice earthy, sweet taste that i don't get in the west coast. I get a nice creaminess out of both of them but more so on the west. The west coast as some nice chocolate notes that i don't find as much in the east as well.

East coast - Earthy, cedar, sweet, spice ( med/full

west coast- Earthy, chocolate, cream, not as much spice. ( medium )

I'm going to have to agree w/ you here! Though I like the West a lot, the East still has the edge, for me. You pretty much nailed it! I find the East to be one of the most balanced and perfectly blended sticks I've had to date. It's like a red label and brown label had babies!

I'm a sucker for the Westie... It will always get the nod over the Eastie. Full of spice and flavor, and right in my wheelhouse for about an 1 - 1 1/2 hour smoke.

Wow, I think I'm gonna cry after I've smoked one of each because I'll only have one westie left! New one's for the HTF list!

*LMAO*:hysterica I love you too Clint! One thing you should
know about me by now... When I focus on something
i usually get it... So one of these days... you'll look up
and i'll have found a handful of each... Don't know where
from, i just wanted to get an idea of what to expect from
my brothers...

You know how many Viaje's i buy... i'm just getting into
Tat's... and a year ago, I didn't know my head from my
ass when it came to cigars.... That's one of the great things
about the forum... You learn SO MUCH for which I am forever
grateful...

And you meet some great people too! (Yourself Included!)
