Ok, So i was on vacation and downloaded alot of podcasts to listen to while on the beach.
Anyway, I was listening to the recent Rocky Patel podcast...
and they mentioned they just pre-released their newest cigar (15th anniversary I think) at the cigar Inn in New York. And Rocky mentioned he wanted to do something special for them, and give them a different cigar than everyone else will get at release, they all got round cigars, whereas the everyday release will be box pressed.
Then another guy chimed in with what seemed like ridiculous B.S. to me. He said, you gotta get the box press too, because even though its the same blend, when its box pressed its even better because ..."you get more complexity"...
Now that just seems silly and like B.S. to me. Can anyone confirm if box pressed vs. round of the same size and blend changes anything. Lets be honest, they are just putting it in a mold and changing the shape.
Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Would be curious to your thoughts.
