Notice that those prices on the Mi Barrio are now their "Regular Price." This must reflect the new deal 601 has to have their cigars distributed by RP (who's been in bed with Famous for years). This is GREAT news for 601 fans. The Mi Barrio for a regular price of $6/stick is a fabulous deal, imvho. I'd paid $7 and felt like it was a bargain.
I was thinking the same thing.

However, the BOGO on the Mi Barrio puts some of the boxes at $60 a box.....$3 a stick! Im thinking box split or hoarding.....

oh, I'm doing it for sure. Insane deal, WAY too good to pass up. My only question is do I want to split the deal and just get one box or get two for myself ... I already have about a box and a half worth of Mi Barrio, and I'm STILL considering getting two ... they're that good.

Hey guys... you are reading the sale the wrong way. The prices you see are what you pay for each box when you buy two boxes. They show the full retail price in one column, then right next to it they split the retail price in half and then show the per box price in the 2-1 column. It's still a good deal, but definitely not $3 a cigar.

So you have to pay this price for 2 boxes (40 cigars):
$234.40 for the El Acere
$230.80
$224.60
$278.60

Hmmm, I've smoked 4 La Perla Morados (2007 box) in the past 6 days that I purchased from Holts on the 14th. 2 of them had burn issues which were caused by dried out leaf that hardened like burnt plastic. Once I scraped that part out they were fine but maybe it's a recurring issue with the way they were stored or the way they age.

Could be why they've been reduced in so many shops?

I don't have the catalogue. but on the site it lists the "Regular Price" as about half of this ^ , then they are on sale on top of that (all under $100/box).

I'm a little worried at this king of sale ... these aren't being discontinued, are they? Someone from Famous want to chime in?
