Awesome link, thanks. I was somewhat familiar with the solera process but this is an excellent explanation.

A few of the boxes are on the way and I have some boxes to get another batch out... I was going to ship via USPS but alcohol is forbidden and rather than chance it I figured I'd go UPS. Some tracking numbers below...

All has landed safely. I figured I might have to sign but they left it on the porch. Oh wells, don't know why they wouldn't have let me pick it up on the way home instead of it sitting out all night.

Okay I'm sitting on my patio right now. I poured two fingers of XO and lit a Viaje Jar Exclusivo Robusto. I must say this rum is fantastic. It's like drinking caramel and vanilla flavored sugar water. You can barely detect alcohol burn at all. It's so smooth and flavorful it's sinful. This XO has gained the status of "elixir" for me. It's a gift from the gods through a humans hands.
