Lancero Love

I have found a love for lanceros and looking for recommendations on which ones I should try. Currently the only lanceros I have had have been the Oliva V and the el triunfador.

Coronado by la flor lancero is stellar. I also dig anything don pepin or tatuaje in the lancero vitola. Granted it is not a lancero, but give an opus x petit lancero a try.

Cubao #3, Nestor Miranda Dominicano, and Tatuaje Especiales are three I'd suggest.

The Cubao #3 is probably my favorite from this list but they are all worthwhile sticks.

Illusione hl, Tatuaje Especiales, Pinar Del Rio Sungrown, Triunfador, Air Bender, and My Father are some great lancero choices.

The Illusione hl Maduro is a nice stick. If you see them grab a handful. I still think my favorite is the El T Original Release.

Good choices with oliva v and el trio. Second ron99's choice for the OR. Also really like the Nestor Miranda special selection.

Though I have yet to try the cigars from it, the limited edition pepin lancero sampler seems to be getting a lot of raves. May still be available online.

Also been eyeing a couple of other interesting online vendor samplers. PM if you are interested.

Agree with Illusione hl and Cubao. The Oliva V lancero is a staple in my humidor.

Looking forward to the 107 lancero; haven't had it yet, but I'm betting it's great!

Not yet but Im hoping we will down the road, currently we have the Paradigm in a toro, torpedo, short robusto, and a 4x60. The ideology comes in a toro, churchill, and belicoso. Id imagine sometime in 2011 we'll probably do at least another size of the Ideology and hopefully another for the Paradigm as well. My first picks are a lancero and a corona gorda for the next Paradigm vitola.

I find Lanceros to be elegant and very comfortable to smoke. Compared to the La Aroma de Cuba new blend that almost dislocated my jaw last night, I think smaller ring gauges are for me.

Side note: I went to look for some of the cigars you guys suggested and come to find out my local b&m is closed for the Jets vs. Dolphins game tonight.

I've never had a lancero, but I just bought a sampler with a Triunfador lancero in it and I'm interested to try it. When I first got into cigars, lanceros turned me off because I felt like they were the Virginia Slims of cigars - good, but a little embarassing to smoke around your friends. I am over that hangup now, though, in search of some new smoking experiences.
