Liga Privada - where to start, where to buy?

Liga Privada seems to be one of the most sought after and widely loved cigars around here. Actually, this seems to be the case everywhere.

But it seems nearly impossible to find any Liga Privada samplers. Cigar.com, CI, Famous Smoke Shop...they all have them listed, but are either sold out or "backordered indefinitely".

If I wasn't so low on cash right now I'd just chance it and buy a box. It seems next to impossible to go wrong.

But then...which blend?? The Dirty Rat is impossible to find unless you have a "friend", so that's out.

And it seems both the No. 9 and the T52 are wonderful.

So what blend do I go with? And how and where should I buy it?

Does anyone here live in NYC? Could you point me towards a shop that sells Liga Privada's?

I've had a couple of people suggest this to me (with different things) and I have to admit I'd feel like I was being awfully presumptuous.

"Hey Tim, you don't know me, and I'm new around here, but can you do me a favor?"

I dunno...maybe my Canadian trait of being overly-polite is getting the best of me :bouncetau

Definitely try both the 9 and the t52. i don't think one is better than the other, they're just different. try them both and see which you prefer!

He doesnt bite. Just tell him youre on BOTL and he will treat you right.

Another stupid question - he is a user on BOTL, isn't he? Should I PM him here?

What's his username?

I went to Burning Leaf and it seems they only have a general "Contact the store" form, not specifically Tim.

Give them both a whirl, they're both great :grin:. According to one of the guys with JD at Outlaw this weekend, the LP #9 might be a little scarce coming up as they suffered some crop loss :dunno:.
