Dress Box or Cabinet??

How has the packaging been on these lately and which do you prefer??

no problems with packing... i prefer the dress box, simply because it's easier to get into...

...nothing wrong with a dress box but I like the cabinet for aging. If you can get a SLB(slide lid box) imho they are better.

DB is easier to stack & store for aging but I'm partial to cabinets. Nothing like taking a wheel of cigars out and smelling heaven.

If given a choice. l I prefer Cab's over dress boxes as I like my cigars in the round and as mentioned cab's are better for long term aging.

My only complaint about cabs is that they do not ship as well. There have been a few times when the cigars inside my SLB/Cab have been damaged. Never had that issue with DB's yet.

In a year, I don't buy the volume many of you buy in a month, some in a week, so take my opinion for what it's worth. For me, the dress boxes go on display in my mancave, the cabs don't. All of the cigars get taken out and placed in the humi or tupperdor, no room to place the whole box in there!
So anyway, I say get the dress box if you care about the appearance. If not, it doesn't matter which one you get.

I prefer the look of wood boxes in the humi just look more elegant. From the clasp boxes like the CoLa box to slbs I always buy the wood when available. I do like my RyJ cazzie dressbox though. Its a cool shape. Will agree you do get some dinged foots occasionally, but never had it impact the smoking experience. Weird I guess.

I will buy a cabinet over a dress box every time. They are better for aging and I prefer the look.

I prefer the cabinets; round cigars and ribbons aesthetically, and superior for aging in my limited experience.

Cabinets. No draw issues (usually) and the presentation is nicer for the most part.

I just had this question from my vendor on a SLB of BBF they asked permission to open to add extra padding just for this very reason.

I decided to get one of each just to see and I was about out. I agree with all though dress is for show and SLB for aging. :tiphat:
