Miles to go before I sleep ...
I'm pretty much a HUGE sungrown lover!!! I thought I had a pretty decent handle on the sungrown market but and my recent discovery of the Litto Gomez Diez Small Batch 3 made me wonder what other sungrown gems/rarities are out there that I don't know about.

So I figured if I started a thread to see what everyone's favorite sungrown's and sungrown rarities are that I might just discover a few more sticks to try out.

I love the PDR Habano SG offerings ...
Really good ones are VSG's and Opus ... LG SB and regular Diez line included in this segment too ...

A few rarities that I know are out there ... AF Don Gran AniverXario, Chateau Fuente, AF stuff, etc ...

So what's your favorite sungrown or SG rarity?

The new AF Rosado Sungrowns are great IMO. I picked up a few more at my B&M this past weekend. Delicious and with age they'll only improve.

I thought the PDR Habano SG was the greatest reg. prod sungrown
ever made until i had the pleasure of trying the "re-blend". Same
great flavors but creamier! What a stick!

I also like the fuente sg rothchild's with at least 6-9 months of rest...

Another great cheapo sungrown are the Don Kiki Red's with 3 to 6 months
rest...

One of the greatest of all times though is the Ashton VSG Illusione... the
smaller rg really enhances the flavors of the wrapper.

Ditto on the fuentes and Don Kiki Reds. I definitely enjoy both, and was extremely surprised by the DKR... great budget smoke!

I like the Ashton VSG as well as anything. I bought a bunch fo ESG only to find the quality inconsistent. Some are great, some in the same box are bland and poorly made.

I would like to try the AF Roasado Sungrown. I'll keep my eyes open for these.

Ditto on the VSG and ESG. Split a box of ESG with a Master Shake and we were both disappointed. Just not for us. The VSG, however, is fantastic.

The Cuesta Rey Centro Fino is probably my favorite sungrown and the only sungrown I've smoked that I KNEW was a sungrown.
I've been meaning to try them for quite a while. They got nice sizes, made by Fuente and are about $5.00 each.

I really like the Alec Bradley Sun Grown Robusto. I picked up a box of 20 off CigarMonster for $55.00.

Under $3.00 a stick. Hard to beat that.

They were good ROTT, after a month or so rest they were much better.

The Rocky Patel sungrowns are really good. I did however find that the stick got sour at the 1/4 mark. I ordered a 5 pack anyway from cigarmonster, so we'll see how they turn out.
