I disagree with both. You want airflow, but only airflow directed where you want it. Otherwise, the smoke could go anywhere. Also, you DO want the the heat/air/fan on as part of the directed air flow.Keep as much air flow as possible (via windows, sunroof).
Depending on your car, don't put the heat or air on.
You only want the driver's side window open, and just slightly. Vents closed on the dashboard, but open and blowing on the floorboard.Otherwise, windows down, vents not blowing
Listen to him, not me. I don't smoke in my car, was just giving advice passed down to me.I disagree with both. You want airflow, but only airflow directed where you want it. Otherwise, the smoke could go anywhere. Also, you DO want the the heat/air/fan on as part of the directed air flow.

My method as well. I commute 90 miles a day and look forward to the after work smoke every day.I smoke in the car just about every day and there is little to no smell after. The key is to create negative air pressure so all the smoke gets exhausted.
Crack the driver's side window slightly (couple of inches) with all other windows up. Turn on the fan to medium or so on the FLOORBOARD (heat or cool, doesn't matter) with the vents on/open. You will notice the air flow take all of the smoke out the driver's side window crack.
Ideally, you want all of your smoking to be done towards the window, even holding your cigar in your left hand closer to the window.
The method works and my wife (who has a keen sense of smell) will attest to it.
Having a cigar in the car is a great way to make a long drive less stressful!
......x3. This is the way to go.I smoke in the car just about every day and there is little to no smell after. The key is to create negative air pressure so all the smoke gets exhausted.

My experience as well. My wife definitely noticed the difference, that's for sure!Same as above mostly.
I smoke in my 2 vehicles all winter long on the driveway as there really is no-where esle to go. The same thing works for both vehicles and you cant tell that I smoke cigars in them.
Like stated before, if you produce a pressure differential in the cabin of the vehicle, the smoke has no choice but to go out the window, but if you open up 2 windows...especially while driving, you lose that pressure and the smoke lingers. Make sure it is only one window and you are blowing\holding the cigar smoke closer to that window while driving. I had a friend smoke a cigar while I had one once while I was driving, we had both windows open and the smell in the vehicle lasted for almost 2 weeks...never happened again.
