My daughter is being born today! What are some suggestions on what to smoke to celebrate this great day.

Many people go with the classics...Padron Anniversary, Opus X, or something CC. But Mike's got it right. Congrats .

Congrats....I hope you have time to smoke, I sure I thought I would, but ended up not having time until about 2 days later, and honestly, I was glad I waited, since anything I smoked before then would have been wasted (due to time constraints)...

If you do have time, a Padron is always a good choice, I would go with the 45th Maduro :)

Congrats again!

thanks guys! , i'm stoked. I like the idea of something that i can enjoy every year on her birthday. But a Padron sure would be nice too. Maybe two smokes one i know will be around for a long time and a Padron to start out.

CONGRATS!! I hope everything goes smoothly for your wife!

I would second (third, fourth, fifth, or whatever) this idea. I bought a 25ct box... had one at birth, and one for each year thereafter. By the time he turns smoking age, there should be a few left that we can share.

Maybe my imagination is running wild, but how cool would it be to hand him a CC with 15 to 20 years of age, and say "I've had one of these every year since your birth," and show him the tasting notes. Not a bad way for him to start into the cigar world if he so desires...

Congratulations Brother! Nothing like the Birthday cigar, as mentioned what ever you choose will be a sentimental smoke sure to go down in your history as a reminder of the special day! Congrats again!
