What do you think fair market value on a full box of Tatuaje Boris is?

How many cigars are in a box?

I have found someone selling a box. I will let you know if I buy it.

10 to a box so that is $24 a stick. Sounds high to me but some may find it ok. They were released at $12 a stick so he has doubled MSRP

Yea at $24 I would pass. But that is me. If you can swing it and don't mind the price go for it.

I think the going rate would be about $200 for a full box. Maybe $16-$18 for singles. They are my one of my favorites, so I tend to keep up on the prices.

$240 is definitely on the high side, but I would bet someone would buy it at that price.

Well, $240 is quite a bit for 10 cigars, but I guess it depends on how much you like them, and how much you want them.

That's still cheaper than the MSRP on Opus X's.

And yes, the guy has doubled the original MSRP, but considering the fact that they've been completely out of production for some time and are VERY HTF, I would say he can ask for just about anything he wants.

IMO the "don't go higher than MSRP" rule only really applies to in-production sticks.

Once they're out of production, it's the same thing as anything that's out of production (whether it be a film, book, LP, or whatever) - it's now a collector's item.

Sounds too high to me.

On a side note, hopefully it's not a brother trying to cash in. I'm all for capitalism (the market will bear what it will bear), but seeing and hearing certain things on sale and sold to fellow brother's from brother's way above MSRP is nauseating.

I think that the only Opus that MSRP is over $20 a stick for is A's and rarities. Most Opus Msrp $8 and change for a pusssy cat to $18ish for Double corona. Just because some places charge more doesn't make them worth more. At MSRP opus is one of the great deals out there IMHO.

I've honestly never seen Opus' that low. I guess I'm looking in the wrong places.

Cigar.com has them for an average of $25-$30/stick, or $300 for a box of 10.
