I dont know if this is "the truth", but from the interviews and things i have read, Andre seems to put out a lot of small batch product in order to keep the quality of his tobacco up. I seem to remember an interview he did where he explained that his high standards kept a lot of tobacco off his radar, then when he did choose it, he would only make small batch runs so that it kept him interested in making something else new and peak his interest in blending again.
I have never had any Viaje sticks yet, but it just seems odd that someone would put the "LE" monacher on everything, it seems a bit like the boy who cried wolf too many times story. I get why he is making smaller batch runs, but it makes life hard if you try to get any of these as they are usually gone before you can get to em, or you havent "heard the lastest news". I will stick to other easier to find, great sticks myself.

Can we please keep this thread to relevant information regarding the release? Pretty please? Start a seperate thread for bitching about Viaje. Not saying it's warranted one way or another, I just don't want to sift through post after post of complaining when I just want to see if anyone has any new details. Every Viaje thread nowadays contains the expected hemming and hawing, but I will continue to buy Viaje, and am interested in more info. Thank you for your understanding.

It would be nice, I agree (and have said as much on several threads)....but possible? Doubtful.
I believe Mu_Mike said it best when he said Andres an easy target...or something to that extent. Can't say I disagree....I like a lot of his cigars, but the level of douche baggery is pretty strong w/ that one.
So because Andre used the words nuclear, it assumed he is copying Pete? Come on get real. It seems to go right in line with the 2 previous releases of the same stick. It's not like Pete invented making small batch runs of cigars! If Andres standards are so high for his tobacco that he can only produce 50-200 boxes of each type, more power to him, better than him not producing anything at all or over producing with inferior tobacco.

The names however are original, and go in line with previous releases.
I also think the 2 letters "L" and "E", when placed next to each other, in regards to a cigar release add about $50-$70 to the price of a box.
Since you got it from the source, why not ask the source?
Really tired of these threads. I think it's turned into a contest of who can re-post from facebook or twitter the fastest. Post more, contribute less.

There is some truth to that... but not everyone uses facebook. Forums are my news source so I wouldn't have heard about this without the OP. Granted there isn't much info now, but if the Tat threads are any indication, there should be a ton of info in here in short order.
While my initial post may have painted my views as negative, I am excited to hear about this.
What's next from Viaje? H-22 instead of J-21? North Border and South Border instead of a West Coast and East Coast?
He hardly ever answers questions on facebook. I already asked him on facebook, and was met with deafening silence!
Pete Johnson is much better about answering the public on social media sites. He seems to be much more transparent about his products and distribution. I'm hoping that Andre will listen to his fans and start to open up.

This does not come from Andre, but from a shop owner that has a good connection with Andre....the shop sells a TON of Viaje. I was told by the owner that it will be a stronger blend than the other S&Bs. Can't recall size information, just that it is supposed to be stronger.
