Just lit up an OR ELO3 and it is smoking MyTFine right now - much smoother than what I remember when I first got them a few years ago, but still full bodied, very tasty, & complex...glad I still have a few singles buried somewhere.
I look forward to trying the freshies soon and doing a 'lil side by side.:cbig:

Oh good, I am nearly out of the OR ELOs and IMO the OR ELOs are better than the original banded versions, or maybe I just like these better fresh. It would be interesting to fire up all 3 (6!) at once to compare.
Let's get all 3 going at the Socal Herf :)

I know that I am very late to this but...what gives with these sticks? I know they are from Pete and all however, what am I missing.

Perhaps a 5er when Dan posts them.

In the mean time. Can someone, please fill me in.

Yes....he's serious.

Check out the vitolas......and go compare em' to the ORs.

Still haven't seen anything on inventory on these, unless I missed it somewhere??
But the bigger question. Did you order some?

I have yet to pull the trigger on these myself Roberto.....but am entertaining a split offer currently for both. I'm sure I'll bite....these are a couple of my all time favorite smokes, so hopefully they're just SOMEWHERE in the same flavor/profile ballpark to those. If so, a better deal may not be had the remainder of this year.

Bought a fiver of these cigars and lit one up tonight. What a beautiful cigar. Dark and oily and vaguely familiar. Cut the tip and toasted. First puff. Ahhhh, Lots of chewy smoke. The burn if laser perfect with a salt & pepper ash. Oh my. I know this cigar. I have smoked this one before. Do not miss this one. Wow. Thanks Dan.

The above post by CWS back on 9-17-2008 was what enticed my to buy a bundle of the OR ELO3. They were and still are fantastic cigars, and an incredible value when price if factored in.
