I'm sure not too many here have smoked all 3, but if you have...which did you prefer?

Some folks I assume will avoid the 56 altogether due to the girth there, but anyone find something different in one versus the other?

Also curious if anyone knows if there's enough medio tiempo leaf to go around for recent production. Lots of fanfare over which boxcodes are being sold etc. and heard a couple theories on that....the leaf being one, the factory rolled the other. Anyone have some inside info on either?

Smoked numerous of each size. I found the 54 to be the best in terms of flavor and size. The 52 was possibly more flavorful but too short in my opinion. The 56 is a dog rocket with a fancy band. I found every one of the ones I smoked to be an abomination.

The best one is the 54, 56 is a light version of the 54 and 52 my last pick, I wouldn't buy the 52.
Me and my friends have tried a couple of boxes and we all pick the 54 as best choise!

I've only had the 52 just recently and hoping to get ahold of a 54 to try.
54's from the recent/past post seem to get the most hype and are always the one sold out first...Trust me, I've been trying for some time! :argh:

how about this part? Any truth to either of these, or are these simply rumors...

The Medio Tiempo leaf part is pure speculation but wouldn't surprise me at all. If you think about it how much of this leaf could be out there for all the Behikes they are rolling. I've discussed this with numerous people and no one I spoke to would be surprised if there was no Medio Tiempo in recent production runs.

I have no insight into the factory "rumor" one way or another.

Well it probably wouldn't take a whole heckuva lot for em to "say" they're still made with that leaf....even if it were at a fraction of what was used in the initial releases..

Funny how these things can manifest themselves. Not sure there will be any hard evidence one way or the other...just curious is all.

Either way, some 54s showed up at my doorstep last night!

So far, the 52s are the right now. If only they made it longer.

It reminds me of a cohiba robusto on steriods. Amp'ed up on the flavour profile.

If someone wants to send me a 54 and 56, I can confirm which one I like the best. :)

Wouldn't you like to know?
Pre release the 56 was my favourite. I haven't tried too many of the recent ones other then the 52's. I smoked close to 20 of them in Havana this year and loved every one.

All I know is this:
I've only had the 52 so far...Thanks Jeff for the share at the MI Herf! In my opinion I thought they were a fantastic smoke. Howwwwever...I hated how it got very hot at an inch from finishing.
So, this would be another reason I would take the 54 over the 52. I can't afford these cigars as s stapple so if I was saving to buy one I felt would give me what I want time wise and an amount I would spend one time it would be the 54's.
But that's just me. Honestly...I guess I shouldn't have posted at all on this topic as I've only had the one but like you...I've had the question pending in my head for a long time to give it some common sense as far as Time and money is concerned.
