Went to the Diebel's HC/Xikar event with my buddy Chris this evening. Admission fee also scored us a 5 pack sampler of the new HC Xikar series cigars. Also got to meet fellow BOTL'er JDog, aka John.

This was my first event and I had a blast. Got to meet Kurt, the man behind Xikar and showed him my cutter as he was pitching a limited edition tabacco leaf wrapped cutter. He identified mine as a second production run cutter from '99-2000, which was right around the time it was gifted to me. After showing mine off, the guy that was looking at the limited edition was sold. Met new people, shared some stories, had some good beers and tasty cigars. Today was all win!

Great to meet you Austin and the others at the event... I'm just passing on the Bomb tradition... The first time I met a BOTLer, I was also bombed... by Matt (FireDoc83) actually. That said, I had to improvise... was traveling on business in KC, MO area and didn't have much on me.

I also enjoyed meeting Kurt (Xikar founder)... I just read about him in Cigar Press. I am glad Austin PMed me and I made the drive... thank you Austin for the invite! Cheers.

Right on! Were ya able to find Outlaw? My little desktop humi is at capacity after todays festivities. Totally awesome on the bomb tradition and comraderie on here. Hopefully Chris will join soon, I think he'd enjoy the BOTL way.

Found Outlaw... perfect directions. I always get lost in Johnson County, KS. Sounds like your issue with the humi is a good one. Start smoking away... it's always great to meet people with the same passion for cigars! You and your friend Chris fit that mold. Regardless if Chris joins the madness of BOTL or not, your lucky to have a friend to enjoy your passion of cigars with...

I concur! Cheers Buddy. I'm heading outta town for the weekend but if you're in town next week... or whenever ya happen to make it back down this way definitely hit me up and we'll burn one.

not to downplay diebel's at all, but guys, you gotta come to outlaw for the tat/jg event. it will blow you away. let me know if you're gonna make it.
