Small batch and leaf prep tonight, blending 1.5 leaves criollo ligero and 1.5 leaves corojo seco. They'll end with Ecuador Ligero wrapper. Tomorrow will swap out corojo with habano seco.

And it's gooood! I don't know which it is (habano or criollo), it's whatever came from LO.... I'm glad I re-read the blending thread and saw the notes on this combo, it's tasty.

Loved the blending sessions. Did not like the coffee at all.

Cain F....in short, meh. Contruction and burn were great...just not enough flavor to go with that strength. The T110s may have just set the bar too high for blending flavor with strength!

    Blending Thread

This thread has the funniest name: blending thread. Like it's about stitchery, embroidery, that kind of thing. Blending thread. Anyway, I've been doing this shit (blending tobacco into cigars) for five years now, and keeping very explicit blend notes in a massive Excel spreadsheet the whole...

Man what a great stick! Crowned Heads really does some great blending work, with some excellent original design artwork. Gotta love em.. [emoji12] You tried these yet @Lok17

Do you tinker with commercial blends?

Just received an order of quite a few different blending tobaccos to do just that. Even blended some stuff of my own to try and it turned out nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Also had no idea there was pipe tobacco inside. I'm not exactly sure how one goes about blending a cigar to go with a specific type of beer but I'm still intrigued about these cigars.

    Crowned Heads Crowned as King

It's somewhat frustrating that so many amazing cigars are so limited. I never got to try this one. That being said, that's part of the fun, and small batches allow for some uniquely delicious blending.

That is a 500g helping of the rope. I ordered a 500g bag of the black version a while ago. I like blending them together with some latakia and lighter virginias for a home blend.

    A. Flores 1975 Serie Privada Capa Maduro Cigar

I love this maduro. Abe has such a great palate for blending IMO, these are definitely near the top of what he does. Flavorful, not too strong, very well balanced. Pricey but worth every penny.

    What's in your bowl today

Did a little custom blending at the tobacco shop a few days ago, having a bowel of it now. It's half Crem Brule(sp) and half another shop blend called Spartacus. Pretty good. Cheers :ccool:
