I agree....the fundamental flaw is that most people who know enough about blending to create a good cigar on the site would just as soon roll their own.
I tried blending, think I'll stick with single origin for now lol. Didn't turn out very good, but don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to that.
C & D have several blends that contain cigar leaf, they are good but I aways thought they could use a little more. Nothing wrong with a little blending experiment.
Try the Blending Sessions. Some amazing cigars in there for a very reasonable price. Out of 20, one cigar had a loose cap but the construction has been great otherwise.
Today EZ has released "Cigar Wars". Supposedly a blending competition between Chris and Kyle. A 6 pack gets you 3 cigars of the two different blends. 990 total cigars produced.
Ya that cracked me UP! He is awesome. I wanted to interview him again this week at his blending event locally but I just couldn't make my way over there. :(
Great story he actually started blending with Mushashi, & Lars. Then branched out on his own. Like or dislike he has introduced an entire subculture to cigar appreciation. Rock on Jonathan!
I recently discovered that I have about 2 pounds of the Mata Fina (upper stalk position) filler from WLT. I purchased these in 2017 based on a number of positive reviews, but never did anything with them.

Ezra Zion Blending Session. Corona size and a dark leather colored wrapper. I know nothing else about it except it was delicious. Cinnamon bread and deep cherry flavors. Crazy good value.
