Jon, can you give some insight into the blending of each size? I generally prefer the 46rg, but was wondering what you think is the "truest" vitola to the original blend?
Good question.... I hope the day comes, while I'm still smoking cigars, that all current product tobacco is available for blending....and what these guys can produce for me to try.
I attended the blending seminar here in Dallas and it was very cool. Jose is great and it is a very unique and informative opportunity. Enjoy if you have the chance!
I would not worry about the taste blending. I have heard this can occur, but it takes many years to occur. Only exception would be if they are infused cigars (Acid).
Watch some videos then give it a go. Like with most things..... practice practice practice!!
I don't know a thing either. The blending is what locks me up. I need to get more leaf but there so damn many I don't know what to get.
Get a a kit or two so you don't have to worry about blending...
Blending pipe baccy is something I'd like to try as well. It's definitely on my list of winter projects. The site seems cool, just odd that they call it a cigarette blend.
Second Ezra Zion from the Blending Sessions bundle. Much much better than the first sample I smoked. I'm actually not sure what they didn't like about this blend.
Mail hasn't run yet, so still not here. I did just read this great review while waiting.

That would be a fun class to take . If you're looking to make your own cigars though you'll also have to get some schooling or experience in blending the different tobaccos.
Dan
4 pack of founders rübæus
will prob have a single, then experiment with blending.
the stone eirs was a way too bold batch for me, so i'll mix these for kicks for sure.
Agreed with all comments! I've also tried frozen mudslides with cigars which was really tasty. I just got the premixed kahlua mudslide and blending it with some ice. Great on a hot day!
I like the current system too. Maybe not change the wrapper, filler, or binder of the Out of Costume Monsters so more people can try what you're putting together or blending for us.
My personal blend lancero from a 2014 blending session at Joya de Nicaragua during the BOTL cigar safari

Kind of all the above. That's the art of blending. developing the sense of prep to the leaf. blend ratios will also play the role and, FYI you don't have to use whole leaves.
