15ct Tubo box of Monti Petit Edmundos from 07

These should arrive this week and I am at a loss as to how I should handle these?

Do I leave them closed?

Do I just crack the seal?

Do I just remove the caps or eject from Tubes all together?

I assume given the age, I can try one right away, right?

as for keeping them, just put em in th ehumi tube and all. leave the lid on. they've been packaged up that way since 2007 right?

Nice choice there Jack! I've considered those myself on more than one occassion.

As for storage, all my tubes are sitting in the drawers of my Vino exactly as they arrived, cap an' all.

Feel free to enjoy right away, but I would recommend holding on to one or two for a few years if you can, just to see what the age dies with them. As to storage, leave em as they are. If you must crack 'em to ensure they are not damaged, fine, but seal 'em right back up and leave 'en that way.

I have the same sticks- 07 tubos. My came alittle dry and I took 10 that I am smoking now out of the tubes for a couple of months in the humi before destroying-the rest I left in the tubes for the future. Great smoke-spice with alittle tanic flavor. Enjoy!

Could you tell they were dry? Brittle wrapper and crusty triple cap?

ya they were dry compared to the shape of dress boxes I get from the same source but hey they are tubos and I am enjoying them!

Let them rest for 2-4 weeks, I guess they are flying in from abroad. After that, dont open anything before you are going to smoke it.
