First off wb and I reviewed these fine Habanos months ago. I'm sorry to Sam for not posting this then. No excuses just my own fault!

1997 LGC MDO 1:
Prelight

J fire : spice,black pepper, gingerbread light.
Wb: herbal tea on wrapper "Dankess"
7:15 light
Wb light tea flavor coating the tongue
Very elegant smoke
JFire
Sweetness on the first couple of puffs. Almost a sugary caramel that coats the tounge. This is a scotch cigar. Classic Cuban vintage.
1st 3rd:

Jb: Very slight spice still sweet but balanced with a slight saltiness.

Wb The aroma you smell before being lit is actually what u taste in this cigar.
2nd:
Both of us: Strength has picked up notably.
Retrohale is stronger as well but flavors are more pronounced.
Room aroma is strong and floral.
End of 2nd creamy, strong finish almost a bolivar profile going on now.

3rd:

Respect the retrohale! Picked up big time. Much different cigar from when it started.
JFire: Just got a bit of mint with strong tobacco/leather.
Wb: Cigar was floral, sweet and had strong notes of leather towards the end. Very progressive cigar as it burned further.
Finish 9pm
Thanks again to Sam for such a gracious gift! We both loved this cigar!
