Hey guys this is my first review. although its not a new cigar its a cigar ive never tried and was gifted to me so i figured hell why not, ill give it a shot....
START TIME- 7:45
PRE-LIGHT- Cigar appears to me a smaller cigar. The wrapper is a med brownish with a triple cap and has a couple of veins in it. It appears to be well constructed and have a nice tight roll and solid body.
Its aroma is of mellow hay
FIRST THIRD- with the first couple of puffs it made me turn my head to the side and say hmmm.... I got hints of wood an a sweet nuttiness to it that fit my palate and I really enjoyed. As the first third came to and end the draw was perfect, emitted a lot of creamy smoke and the burn was A+.
SECOND THIRD- The ash fell of the start of my Second Third. The flavors are more of a roasted wood and leather with the hint of sweet that I cant seem to put my finger on. They were outstanding flavors the seemed to improve in strength the more I burned into the stick that was accompanied by an abundance of think creamy smoke.
The burn was nice and even without any hitch and had to be smoked nice and slow or a bitterness would bite you.
FINAL THIRD- into the home stretch and the sweetness mellowed out but the woody leather is still there with hints of nut too. There is an after taste of a caramelized sugar as the other tones mellow off my palate. Burn is going great (the best i have had without a single issue)
END TIME- 8:55
CONCLUSION An amazing smoke for such and light body. Great taste that treats you well even after your done smoking. I Give the stick a 92, the burn a 98, and the flavor a 90.
