Appearance/Construction- The cigar has great uniform caramel brown color. Oily and attractive with some pronounced veins.

Burn/Draw- Great draw. Needed a couple of touch ups in a few spots, but nothing burdensome.

Flavor-
1st third- Great medium/medium-full flavor on a medium body. Immediatly upon light has nice delivery of cedar, spice, tea and hints of coffee and chocolate.

2nd third- More of the same but the cedar subdues and for a small amount of the time a metallic note emerges. The chocolate note transforms to unmistakable milk chocolate flavor as the metallic note exits.

Final third- Some of the tea flavor comes more into focus and the cedar and spice flavor re-emerges. During this part, some touch ups were needed and the stick heated up and dulled the flavors.

Burn time- 2:20

Overall- 8.8/10

I must thank Terran the MAN for this cigar, much appreciated brother.

a few days ago I had a bolivar petite corona. I got chocolate notes also, which were really good, kinda like a dark chocolate.

Something in the finish made it somewhat unenjoyable.
I am sure they are all different, but how do you find the finish on the bolivars?

Thanks,
wut

This one was rather light and clean for most of the cigar till the end. It was my first Bolivar with a good amount of time on it. All the rest I've smoked, mostly pc's, I've enjoyed the finish. I am mostly a non-cuban smoker and if a cigar has a heavier finish most times I don't find it objectionable. Some of my favorites are from LFD which can be rather loaded with a heavy finish.

Just smoked a '06 one and it was absolutely awesome. Smoked it a bit too fast but still enjoyed every puff.

Yesterday I smoked Bolivar Belicosos Finos, the day before that Bolivar Royal Coronas and tomorrow either Petit Belicosos LE or perhaps no.2.
