Smoking one of these right now on a 93 degree day in Austin Texas sitting in the hammock watching the football game drinking sweet sun tea. Only have one of these thanks to Mitch at Cgars Ltd who graciously sent me one about 2 months ago after I posted on a thread in which he said he would send a few out for people to try. This Belicoso is heavy suggesting lots of tobacco inside of the smooth colorado wrapper. The bunch at the foot of this cigar was textbook with little to no folding and an even distribution of 3 distinct colors of tobacco. Cliped the pointed head and took a test draw which provided slightly more resistance than I like in a cigar but as I have been smoking it now at the 1/4 mark it has opened up nicely. Burn has been straight as an arrow and the taste thus far is a toss up between the strength of a RASS and the finesse of the now discontinued RA corona. I can pick out hints of that old cigar taste (aged library book smell) even though this cigar is only 2 years old, leather and musty earth... a very unique flavor profile thus far to say the least.

Can't wait to see how the rest of the cigar smokes. A nice change of pace to my normal cigar line up to say the least. Thanks again Mo!

Did you forget about your bros that you used to get together with and herf on Sundays?

Your company and expertise on cigars has been greatly missed.

Heath had a Boli Gold from 2007...Jason had an Opus robusto and I had a Cohiba Reserva and a H Upmann Mag46.

Start bringing your ass around more or I'll be forced to come knocking on your front door.

Greg,

Naaah bro I haven't forgotten. Last Sunday I was back in Cozumel and this Sunday I finally got the boards to get the ol projector fired up and working again so I was a happy camper to watch the games at hm. You know I enjoy hanging with yall. Maybe one Sunday I will have some Q' made up in the smoker and invite the whole gang over to herf at the casa. Sounds like some great cigars were smoked that is for sure.

Nice review.

The original release ones are smoking great now.

I can only imagine what they will be like in 5 - 10 years from now.
