no kidding! my buddy mike (was at the party, dad of the marine) came over for our wednesday niter. real excited with the box. i gave him my thoughts, "fake", and he asked that i share it with ya'll. the box was a gift to mike,,,,

The most obvious problems I see, other than they didn't make 2006 Sublimes are that these appear to be absent of triple caps and the EL-FEB 06 box-code is bogus.

I agree...I didn't notice the caps, but I raised an eyebrow at the 'EL' box code.

is the code (Hecho en CUba) stamped, or heat pressed in the box...looks like it's stamped but I can;t tell

Just saw this post.....too many things to point out that these are fakes.
From the box stamp code and font, lack of triple caps, the incorrect bands, the Habanos chevron and the EL chevron, the Habanos SA stamp on the bottom of the box, lack of a warranty seal, no 2006 release of a Cohiba Sublime and the list goes on and on.

:rofl: I'm sorry. I quit looking after just hearing 2006 sublimes. After looking at the pics, these aren't even in the running for a "good try".
