Decided to pull out my only '11 Bolivar Britanica UK RE for Turkeyday and do a review since I haven't done one in a while. I had one of these while I was in London in August and liked it. They were a tad pricey or I would have bought a few more while I was there.
Drink: Glenlivet 12
Draw: Cut the cigar with my Palio. The draw is perfect. Just a tad of resistance.
1/3: Toasty tobacco and good amount of coffee bean. It's surprisingly smooth through the nose and pick up primarily cedar.
2/3: The tobacco and coffee bean mix together and is a bit hard to pick out individual flavors. It also gets a little harsh. The harshness wasn't there a few months ago. Maybe it's starting to get a little sick (but what do I know).
3/3: The flavors separate again but the youth of the cigar still lingers.
Final Impressions: Very enjoyable cigar dispute its youth. I'm sure this cigar will be great with a few years on it. I would not hesitate to recommend this cigar and may have to pick up a box myself.
