2014 Habano thoughts

So, since 2014 is a couple months away from endingh and 2014 CC stock has been in circulation for a little bit now, I'm curious on what is everyone's take on them so far? Do you think they are smoking just as good fresh as the past couple years, tobacco quality improving/declining, etc.? I'll admit that I haven't reached for much of my 2014 stock yet so I haven't formed an opinion yet, but I haven't been disappointed with the ones I have.

Smoking a HdM Epi#1 (MAE Mar14) right now and it's in line with the 13's I have smoked previous. More rest will definitely help but it isn't having burn issues and tastes very nice.

This thread is great, should be a huge education for me. Just a quick ask since I'm so new. Can someone give a quick breakdown of what 2013 was thought of in quality and if there was 1 year in the last decade that really just stood out?

2013 was phenomenal in my opinion. Every 2013 smoke I had was great with even higher potential.

I think only 14 I've smoked was a CONNIE A and it was as good as the 13 upon release. I have heard good things about 14, just haven't bought any that have been delivered yet.

13's were initially very good... my mur bpc 13's were super at first - but now are sickly muted though.

I have tried 12 or so '14 marcas,from good to very good,every one of them.ERdM,RA,RG,Cohiba,Monte 4,3,SLR,PL,Boli,JLopez,Upmann,Partagas.........

I was concerned that two bad wrapper years in a row would impact overall quality,and I am thankful that it has not.

Smoking up the '08 and '09 stock to make room for current offerings..........

In the last decade{2005-2014) no single year has been a standout.There have been excellent cigars,just not consistently.

2013 was good,some very good.Some below average production in some brands,Upmann and El Rey,R.Allones,RyJ..........

2014 has been above average overall,though,and could be special.Time will tell,and two more months of rolling..........

I've been smoking some monte no4 from mar and they are fantastic lots of cocoa and some pepper. I think they are pretty damn good. I also have some trini Reyes from June I am not nearly as impressed with them they are not bad by any means. Just my thoughts.
