Sounds like an excuse to me... <G> *REAL* cigar smokers don't mind a little cold or rain. Hold a folded newspaper over the cigar and get wet! Hell, look at me; I smoke underwater!!!
sorry to break up the thread, but what do you know about cold and rain???:stretchgr

Since I lived in the western Chicago suburbs for half my life, I understand cold weather. To smoke in the cold and/or rain a person can do either one of the following:

01> Put on a jacket or coat.

02> Smoke in the garage with the nice space heater turned on.

Besides, Squid is *NOT* a girlie-man! <G>

Let's see, yesterday... started (ok, first cigar was after lunch, long 15hr work day, 'nuff said) with a PAM '64 (the smaller box-pressed ~4inch one) I was gifted/ bombed by someone here (altercall? not sure...) = AWESOME!
LGC Serie R (forget the frontmark, but the large rg torp) around 3pm...
On the way home (~7pm), a Joya de Nic Antano 1970 gran consul...
After dinner (~9pm or so), a RP vintage 92, 6x60... and that was it.

Today (4/11) will be interesting - dentist at 10am, so I'm being kind to the dentist and not smoking before that... well, yet... we'll see how well my willpower lasts...

As for later, I'm thinking some Fuente product I have from the newbie trade -- I'm VERY uneducated on fuente products, as the local B&M somehow thinks that anything fuente should have a $10 or higher price tag on it... Nothing against the fuentes, but I'd rather pay less and get a tat or pepin garcia black label... maybe a CAO Brazillia- Gol in there somewhere (as much as I bash on CAO for their marketing, I still dig the brazilias), and maybe a 5 vegas series A. Time will tell...

Just my 2 cents,
ZugbugPete
